Built From the Tools Up. Here’s How Paradise Construction Started

“Building and creating have always been a part of me. It’s in my DNA.” – Kristian Vincent, Owner.

Paradise Construction was founded in 2012 by Kristian Vincent, a Red Seal carpenter who learned the trade the hands-on way.

After graduating from Holy Cross Secondary School, Kristian started as a labourer for a local custom home builder. He worked his way up through grit and long hours, eventually earning his apprenticeship and completing the 7,200 hours of training required to become a licensed Red Seal Carpenter.

While building full-time, Kristian spent evenings and weekends tackling side jobs to gain experience in every corner of the trade. That extra work led to referrals, then bigger jobs, and before long, Kristian had more work than he could take on alone. So he built a team.

Why We Do What We Do

What Drives Us And What We Stand For

For us, it’s about doing work we’re proud of, helping people feel good in their space, and never cutting corners just to save a day or a dollar. We believe your home should reflect how you live, not just how it looks. That’s why we focus on smart design, efficient builds, and clear communication.

We Build With Skill and Care

Every person on our crew has earned their place through hands-on experience and training. We take the time to do things properly, and it shows in the work, from the bones to the details.

High Standards, High Quality

Our work gets double-checked, not second-guessed. We’ve built systems that help us catch issues early and deliver work that holds up, not just when we hand over the keys, but for years after.

We Keep Our Word and Show Up

We’ve all heard the horror stories, the contractor who ghosted, the job left hanging. That’s not us. We’re clear, we’re honest, and we finish what we start. No shortcuts, no excuses.

We Build for Long-Term Living

We design and build with performance in mind, from insulation and efficiency to material planning and waste reduction. A Paradise build is built for the everyday life.

Certifications & Affiliations

We don’t just say we’re qualified, we back it up. From Red Seal carpenters to exclusive installation certifications, our credentials reflect the experience and accountability we bring to every job.

Building Responsibly

Sustainable Architechture

We believe builders have a role to play in making things better, not just for homeowners, but for the trades, the environment, and the community.

Sustainable architecture means reducing the environmental impact of a home through efficient use of materials, energy, space, and natural resources.

We’re passionate about sustainable building, passive solar design, energy efficiency, and minimizing construction waste. We’re early adopters of new technologies and products that perform better and are better for the environment.

We care about the finishing details, but also the parts you don’t always see, like accurate material take-offs, a well-built envelope, high R-values, and smart planning that keeps waste out of landfills.

We divert construction waste wherever possible.

We design for energy performance and durability.

We support apprenticeships and skilled trades training.

We choose partners who share our values.

Kristian Vincent

Owner / Licensed Carpenter

Meet Kristian, owner of Paradise Construction. After graduating from Holy Cross Secondary School, Kristian spent several years working for a local custom home builder. He started out as a labourer and through hard work and dedication earned his apprenticeship opportunity. After spending years perfecting his craft and completing the 7,200 on-the-job hours and schooling required to write and pass his Carpentry Certificate of Qualification [C of Q] exam, Kristian became a licensed Red Seal Carpenter. While completing his apprenticeship, in addition to working full-time on the job site, Kristian devoted his evenings and weekends to gain experience and skill in every facet of building and construction. His honesty, reliability, and commitment to quality resulted in an ever-increasing demand for his work. Kristian officially founded Paradise Construction in 2012 and hasn’t looked back. Over the past decade, he has carefully assembled the strongest team and partners in the industry. “Building and creating have always been a part of me. It’s in my DNA.”
