“Building and creating has always been a part of me. It’s in my DNA.” – Kristian Vincent, Owner Paradise Construction

After graduating from Holy Cross Secondary School, Kristian spent several years working for a local custom home builder. He started out as a labourer and through hard work and dedication earned his apprenticeship opportunity. After spending years perfecting his craft and completing the 7,200 on-the-job hours and schooling required to write and pass his Carpentry Certificate of Qualification [C of Q] exam, Kristian became a licensed Red Seal Carpenter.

While completing his apprenticeship, in addition to working full-time on the job-site, Kristian devoted his evenings and weekends to gain experience and skill in every facet of building and construction.

His honesty, reliability and commitment to quality resulted in an ever-increasing demand for his work.

Kristian officially founded Paradise Construction in 2012 and hasn’t looked back.

Over the past decade, he has carefully assembled the strongest team and partners in the industry.

“Everyone deserves to have a space of their own where they can feel safe and calm… where they feel at home. Our goal at Paradise Construction is to work with you to create your vision – your home – your Paradise.”

Our Core Values

Premium Craftsmanship

Craftsmanship is a skill that only comes from creating with passion, care, and attention to detail. Craftsmanship is earned, refined, and honed over a lifetime. Craftmanship is the difference between a house and a home.

At Paradise Construction, we are passionate about our craft, and it shows through our hand-picked team. We have [7] fully licensed Red Seal Carpenters on our crew. Each of our licensed carpenters has completed the 7,200 hours of schooling and on-the-job hours required to write the carpentry C of Q exam. We have [3] carpentry apprentices who work with our licensed carpenters to learn the trade and are in the process of getting licensed.

Combined we have over 75 years of industry experience, knowledge, and craftsmanship that we are able to give to our customers.

Our Core Values

Commitment to Quality

Quality isn’t a sometimes thing, it’s an all-the-time thing. Quality is a commitment to pursue excellence in everything we do. Quality is a commitment to our culture.

Quality is the fabric of Paradise Construction.

We constantly challenge ourselves to improve upon our build practices, processes, standards, and services. We set the highest standards for quality, and relentlessly work to maintain these standards. Our employees and customers know that quality is part of our culture and important at every level of our organization.

At Paradise Construction we have developed a proprietary set of processes and tools that help team members ensure that quality is monitored. Any lapses in quality are detected and addressed immediately.

Our Core Values

Uncompromising Integrity

We show up when we say we will and do what we said we would. We are respectful, honest, trustworthy, hard-working, and responsible.

We explain every aspect of your project and answer all of your questions with complete honesty.

We take great pride in our integrity. It has taken us years to build our strong reputation and we will never do anything to compromise it.

Chances are that you have personally [or someone you know] has had a less than favourable experience with an unreliable contractor. We receive far too many calls from customers who “hired a handyman from the internet” or went with the “cheapest quote” and as a result are now in desperate need of help. In most of these situations, we find that the work wasn’t built properly or safely [in accordance with the Ontario Building Code], or the contractor took the payment and the customer can’t get them to come back and finish the job.

These types of experiences cause unnecessary frustration and even dangerous conditions in your home. This can understandably create some hesitation and concern when it comes to selecting the right contractor for your job.

Paradise Construction was built on a foundation of trust and integrity. We have grown our business largely through word of mouth and repeat customers. We are only as good as our customers believe we are, so it is extremely important that we always act with uncompromising integrity.

Our Core Values

Sustainable Architechture

Sustainable architecture seeks to minimize the negative environmental impact of buildings by efficiency and moderation in the use of materials, energy, development space, and the ecosystem at large.

We are passionate about sustainable builds, passive solar design, energy efficiency, and minimizing waste.

We are early adopters of new technologies and products that perform better and are better for the environment.

Finishing details get the most attention. We care about those too. We care as much about the things you don’t necessarily see – efficient design, accurate material take-offs, a carefully planned and constructed building envelope, high R-values for energy savings, and construction waste that is diverted from landfills.

We believe that we have an obligation to do our part to protect the planet for future generations.

Put simply – we build it better.
